Dear mama,
You’re doing great.
You’re standing strong.
You wipe your tears and carry on.
When you pray for broken hearts to be healed, remember God can heal yours too.
And remember you will fail but you’ll also win and succeed too.
Count your success in the eyes and smiles of your children.
Hold them tightly in your arms.
And know that each moment is a gift though fleeting, though challenging, savor all of it.
Because, mama, there’s only one of you.
And you know the pain and strain and weight of that truth.
So don’t hold back on loving hard, praying hard and believing that God can move your mountains, carry you through deep waters and restore your joy in the darkness.
Because when you can’t find the truth, when you aren’t strong enough, when you can’t seem to make it all right again, remember to put all your trust in Him.
He promises to be with you, mama. He is a good Father.
And in case no one has told you today, you’re doing great, mama. No one knows your story like you. No one has walked in your shoes but you. No one knows your heart like you and God.
And, mama, I want you to repeat these words as often as needed “I am enough.”
Lastly, I pray, “May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26.
