Time speeds by fast


Everyone speeds by


Houses, children, marriage


Why can't I?


I stay awake strategizing


Finances, savings, money I spent online


Then you take my hand and I look in your eyes


Here I am


Present


In this moment in time


And suddenly I realize


I'm exactly where I should be


And in that moment my worries all subside


Then the truth, my heart whispers and the logic in my mind find a place to align


I'm yours, you're mine


I finally got it right this time.
