Life is a classroom

Sometimes when I write stories, as the journalist I am, I am pushed out of my comfort zone. But more days than not I learn more about topics and politics and people than I’d ever dreamed I would.

Sometimes it’s intimidating to write about or learn about new things.

But such is the task of life.

So don’t worry when you don’t know all the answers.

Life, like many vocations, is a classroom and there is always so much more to learn.

And to grow you must learn.

It is when we think we know it all that we are to be pitied.

I’ve always believed that teachability is the best quality one can possess. However, I also believe arrogance is the enemy of teachability.

So, I challenge you to take ahold of confidence in yourself and your journey and open your mind and heart to the lessons that life and our Father can teach you.

Then go share those truths with others.

It is never too late to learn. It is never too late to grow. It is never too late to be a better version of you.

Learning starts now. Take it in and with each new adventure, mistake and journey, become better, wiser and stronger. You can. I can. And we will!
