What is self care when you have littles + a full time job + a spouse?

Mamas, if you’re like me, showers and time in the bathroom feel like 5 star getaways at the end of the day.

But really, we should take care of us too.

I’m not talking about online impulse buys but just some nice quality time with ourselves doing something that we love for us for a change.

Here are some tips to take care of you:

  1. Binge your favorite show uninterrupted (in bed not in the bathroom).

  2. Read your fave book on your lunch break guilt free.

  3. Browse your local shopping outlet on your lunch break.

  4. Get up early and go for coffee even with the little one asleep in the car seat.

  5. Plan a self care spa day.

  6. Get your roots done, girl, “to the salon!”

  7. Catch up on a cherished podcast on the way to work or home even on lunch break.

  8. Take a nice long bubble bath or shower.

You decide within reason of course the way is to best reward yourself or take time for you. You don’t have to break the bank and you can get creative but the important thing to remember is that you deserve to take care of you too. You can’t pour from an empty pitcher and you know what gets your love tank full so prioritize that too.
