Relish right now

I’m a rusher.
I want everything instantly—like everyone else in my generation (Gen Z, though I relate more to millennials) and honestly, most of us across the globe. I’m also a planner. I tend to get stuck in my head years down the road instead of enjoying this moment in time.
So I’m writing this post for me—and for anyone else who needs a gentle reminder to stop rushing and start relishing.
What if we took that anxious thought captive and said: Hold on. Let’s breathe. Let’s enjoy this time right now?
What if we unplugged, soaked in the sweetness of time with our babies and families, and simply trusted God to take care of both the now and the later?
Relish now.
Relish today.
The Bible tells us not to worry. It also reminds us that tomorrow is not promised.
That leaves us with two profound options:
Spend today loving others, following Jesus, and cherishing the little moments—
or waste today trying to control things we were never meant to carry.
So, dear reader—and dear writer—take this to heart.
This moment matters.
Right here. Right now.
Take it in.
Enjoy it.
You’ll never get it again.
That’s the ache of it… but oh, that’s the beauty in it too.
Scriptures to Reflect On:
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
— Matthew 6:34 (NLT)
