You can rest in Him today

“When you think about it we are all a bunch of tall older children paying bills and figuring life out. It’s OK to laugh and not have it all together. (No one really does anyway).”

I had this thought while getting ready recently during a hectic week. I had some things on my mind troubling me and the phrase came to me.

Sometimes we get so tense over things we don’t control. And we forget to breathe, pray and put down that heavy weight.

The Bible says to carry each other’s burdens. It also says to give it all to Jesus because He cares for you and He will carry it for you. What a friend He is to carry that for us!

Will you lay them down and give Him your burdens today?

Take time today to find a quiet place or space to  rest in Him.

“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.”

“Then Jesus said, ‘Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.’”
